To provide the professional expertise and technical skills to construct, rehabilitate and maintain facilities and grounds owned by the County and implement the County's facilities capital improvement plan in a cost effective manner.
The Public Property Department has a variety of responsibilities and maintains agreements on properties leased by the County and manages contracts for services provided to County facilities. The staff interacts with various architects, engineers and contractors who provide professional services on construction and restoration projects. The Public Property Department also operates the mail service for all County facilities.
